The Village

The Village offers a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere whether it is simply enjoying a drink after work, a big night out or enjoying the wide and varied menu offering freshly cooked, made to order dishes, using ingredients sourced from local shops and farms. This is complemented by quality cask ales and premium beers as well as an extensive range of wines and champagnes. On the menu you'll find all your favourites along with some more unusual dishes. Why not try the traditional pie served with greens and a rich gravy, a delicious tender rib-eye steak with blue cheese and mushroom sauce or a succulent and juicy burgers – hand pressed from carefully selected minced beef, simply seasoned and char-grilled and cooked to perfection. On Sundays, don't miss the classic roasts – chicken, beef, pork and lamb – served with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, home-roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. If you're only peckish, there are lighter options for lunchtimes – old favourites, seasonal salads, delicious sandwiches and paninis. Being completely free of tie from any brewery, the drinks range is very varied and enticing, with a variety of cask beers, premium lager and quality wines available.
