We had a beautiful meal, the food was delicious, the wine was sublime, shame I was driving and the atmosphere was great, very welcoming and we were very well looked after. we will most definitely be back.

Party of 4 and our first visit to the Buxted Inn. Fantastic experience - staff pleasant and attentive -good menu choices and excellent food well presented and hot. Followed by scrumptious puddings. All reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!!

Had a very enjoyable, beautifully cooked meal. Specials must have been very good as they had virtually all gone by the time we ordered. Two courses were ample but had we had room for a desert we would have preferred a few lighter options to the 'puddings' available.

A delicious Sunday lunch. Our only complaint - not enough gravy with the roast pork. The plate was whisked away and returned brimming with the stuff, and more in a jug. Generous portions. Fresh veg (genuinely fresh). A big bit of fish in crispy (not soggy) beer batter, with fab fat chips. And the sticky toffee pudding (with fig, syrup and ginger ice cream) was to die for. A welcome meal on a chill, wet day.

We visited The Buxted Inn for Sunday lunch with friends following a recommendation and were not disappointed . The food was excellent, starters were great, crispy cockles being a firm favourite, I had the slow cooked belly pork, it was so tender with a fabulous crispy crust....gorgeous. My husband had the roast beef, also beautifully cooked served with lovely fresh vegetables. Finally we were very impressed with the prices, £16.95 for 2 courses or £19.95 for 3 courses, we will most certainly be returning soon, thank you.
