I love it at the Gingerman, it's always a lovely experience of service and food. The Sunday lunch is good value and tasty and the menu generally is adventurous but not overly so.

We have enjoyed numerous visits to this restaurant, and generally found the food, ambience and service to be of high quality. Unfortunately, on our latest visit one of the main meals was rendered inedible due to a substandard cut of meat. The issue was handled satisfactorily by staff, with an offer to replace the offending dish and when this was declined, due to time constraints and throwing the meal out of sync, adequate compensation was applied to the bill. A disappointment on this occasion, but one that was handled well.

Magnificent Japanese's milk buns with marmite butter, Perfect cooked prawns The freshest beautiful Bass Rounded off with fine cheeses and petite fours Fantastic celebration for my birthday, great staff who provided butter for the ‘marmite haters’ As always I recommend it to everyone!
