Rude service and poor food

We'd booked earlier that day and when we turned up we asked if we could sit out we were rudely told " no! " We had to explain we had a reservation. They didn't even ask! We asked for two veggie roasts, then they tried to charge us for four! The food arrived, it was ok. However there was meat on the plate. Not what we wanted on our VEGGIE roast! We told the staff we found meat on our plate and they said " and?" No apology, nothing Extremely bad service. We were looking forward to this and had heard good things. However, there service was so rude we won't ever be back and will tell friends and family to to give this a very wide birth.

We had a reservation at 7.45pm which I didn’t think was late but the waitress came back to say the main I had ordered off the a la carte menu was sold out so I ordered one of the mains from the ‘specials’ menu. She then came back to tell me that that was off too. All rather disappointing and as a non meat eater it was tricky to find something. Ended up with the Dover Sole which was not good and expensive.
