We have been coming to the Felix in Billericay for a few years now and we just live it. Food staff everything about it is amazing. We come for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries and New Year.

To whom it may concern … Just wanted to say many thanks for looking after us last night. The table, service and food for my Fathers 83rd birthday was fabulous! Kirsten was particularly helpful with the original set up of the balloon and cake, then made the whole evening very special. We all thought the food was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. not for anyone with a nut allergy

we found that the vast majority of the starters and main courses were cooked in ground nut oil and not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy which our daughter has. I have no idea why a modern restaurant in this day and age would do so. Alec's in Navestock or Smiths in Ongar have very similar menus without this practice. For example why would you have a scallop starter garnished in bacon cooked in ground nut oil? Totally unnecessary.

Food was amazing but the service let you down. Young girls standing around leaning against the cupboards chatting.
