The Original Third Eye Restaurant

At The Original Third Eye Restaurant we would like to invite you to sample the very best in Indian and Nepalese cuisine from the usual well known dishes, to dishes from ‘Outside this World’.

We are a family run business, serving a fusion of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. Inspiration for the name came from the famous temple, Swayambhunath temple in Nepal and from the famous Nepalese restaurant in Thamel, “Third Eye” which is one of the Chakra, the all seeing Eye.
We serve traditional & contemporary Nepalese and Indian cuisine, ranging from traditional MOMO’s, steamed dumplings served with a homemade sauce to our contemporary and best selling Indo-Chinese Chicken chilli to our latest Kantipur King Prawns or Chicken to your well known Chicken Tikka masala that originally originated from Great Britain.
The Original Third Eye Restaurant has won many awards including the English Curry Awards for the Chef of the year for the North and Chef of the Year for England 2019/2020 and has recently won Best Restaurant of Manchester 2022.

We cater for many dietary requirements serving Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, Halal and most allergy requirements, please highlight this before ordering, so your server can guide you.

We were celebrating our granddaughter's fifth birthday. Two of our chicken kebab meals were raw. These were replaced. The manager enquired re the new meals and l explained that my replacement chicken was tough. He offered to replace this meal. I explained that we had seven children under eight years old at the table and the delay was distressing for them and that they wanted their desserts and birthday cake. I said l would "eat round" the kebab. As we left the restaurant, l told the manager that l was expecting at least one one of the meals to be taken off the bill. He did not respond. I explained that our family have used this restaurant for over thirty years and had never previously had a bad meal. He did not speak, but grinned inanely. I asked if he was going to make a gesture of goodwill. He did not respond. I left the restaurant, distressed and upset. I would like a response from the restaurant.
