On offer, there is a fantastic fish menu alongside popular pub classics including Beef Wellington, Gressingham duck and 28 day hung steaks. Everything on the menu is prepared with exceptionally high quality ingredients and all the sea food comes direct from the quay at Portsmouth. The Chequers Inn is a pub with an a la carte menu that is hard to beat. There is also a daily sandwich selection and a fantastic daily specials blackboard that can have up to up 15 stunning fresh fish dishes on it each day. To top it all off there is a superb dessert board, offering a range of scrumptious treats. A range of coffees and speciality teas are also available to nicely finish your meal. The restaurant can be booked for private dining for up to 30 guests while for bigger affairs, 60 people can be comfortably accommodated in the beautiful garden.
