The Phoenix Inn

This beautiful historic pub and restaurant has firmly established itself as one of the best eateries in Hampshire, steeped in history dating back to the 18th century. The team at The Phoenix Inn believe in delivering traditional locally sourced produce, freshly cooked, daily. Provenance and seasonality are key elements in formulating the menu. The steak offer includes Châteaubriand and Côte de boeuf for 2 to share, and on Sundays the meats are roasted throughout the day to ensure freshness and quality, hence being awarded The Best Sunday Roast in the UK 2012. The range of ales is carefully sourced to complement the seasons, and has been Cask Marque accredited. A very comprehensive wine list with at least 16 wines is available by the glass, a Fine Wine section, and a stunning house wine. The peaceful, established garden is ideal for wiling away lazy summer afternoons, and in the winter the roaring fires and comfortable sofas make it a cosy place to relax in.
