One of Royston's most iconic buildings, Banyers House in Melbourn Street, is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre, a Grade II listed Georgian building that has been transformed into a destination venue with a dedicated car park, 90-seat restaurant, extensive bar area and nine boutique-style bedrooms. Open all day from 7:00, the restaurant serves a seasonal, Mediterranean-inspired menu in the light filled orangery and elegant dining room. Whether you are tempted to try a Neapolitan pizza, freshly prepared by one of the highly skilled pizzaiolos and cooked in a wood-fired oven, or one of the dishes cooked to order in the charcoal­ fuelled Josper grill, you will notice a great emphasis on the quality and provenance of the ingredients. With its extensive and varied drinks menu, the bar area provides a range of comfortable seating options, including a separate lounge bar that can be transformed into a private dining or function room to suit any special occasion or business event.
