Tanroagan is a small independent, family run restaurant who are passionate about food & drink, meeting new people and everything they do. The team at Tanroagan works hard to establish and maintain its good reputation for food, customer service and atmosphere. Being a seafood restaurant means a focused on the product, with a focus on local Manx produce, fish and seafood as can be sourced from a network of island suppliers. Scallops, queenies, monkfish, Dublin Bay prawns, ling, hake, brill, turbot, lemon & Dover soles and more come from Makins in Peel. Pollock, lobsters and crabs come from small independent fishermen. Head Chef, Richard Birch along with his kitchen team prepare an amazing seasonal harvest each day and cook it simply to bring out the flavours and freshness of the fish. The open plan kitchen allows dinners to enjoy the theatre of chefs cooking your meal to order. Home-made bread, soups and sauces, handcrafted desserts with ice cream, non fishy starters and meaty/vegetarian options complemented by a decent wine list and friendly professional service makes Tanroagan the sought after dining experience on the Isle of Man. The dining room at Tanroagan can seat 35 people, offering a relaxed and friendly experience whether for lunch or dinner.
