You can enjoy a light lunch in the award-winning garden, or settle down for a real feast in the relaxed restaurant – choosing from an array of dishes crafted from fresh seasonal produce. The New Flying Horse has been extensively refurbished to offer the highest standards of accommodation – yet the building has retained every bit of its original character and charm. There are nine individually-decorated bedrooms, some in the 17th century posting house and others in the converted coach house. All combine beautiful traditional features with modern conveniences. There are plenty of pubs in Kent with gardens – but none quite like the New Flying Horse. Part of the large garden is an authentic recreation of a Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner - Julian Dowle’s successful design "A Soldier's Dream of Blighty". The Chelsea Pensioners' Garden was created for the 2005 Chelsea Flower Show, with input from the Chelsea Pensioners themselves, and includes a Dig for Victory vegetable garden, a pond, a field of poppies and a miniature traditional English pub.
