The Becketts
Originally an old farmhouse, the main building dates back to the 1800s and has undergone a huge regeneration over the years. The new extension gives the building the entrance it deserves where classic Chesterfield chairs and sofas form a relaxed seating area. The new hand built bar interior creates a cosy and inviting atmosphere to share a meal or catch up over a drink or two.
The Becketts offers a pub menu with an interesting twist - the specials board changes regularly to make the most of the seasonal and local produce as well as the creativity of the kitchen team that works closely with local suppliers to make sure the menu is as fresh as it possibly can be.
Having knocked through to create one generous dining space the pub has an attractive restaurant with bi-folding doors that open onto a beautifully landscaped pub garden and decking area. It is an ideal place to relax in the summer months. There is a range of premier draught beers, ciders and ales and an interesting spirits and wine menu. Freshly ground coffee and award winning Teapigs are also available with home-made made muffins and cakes.
There are 8 beautifully appointed guest bedrooms. The bedroom wing was built on the site of the old barns. All rooms are modern and spacious and all are en-suite with bath and shower facilities, fresh towels and toiletries.
