The Cleveland Tontine is something of an institution in beautiful North Yorkshire. The Bistro and Conservatory form the main dining area, with a vaulted ceiling, stunning stone fireplace and candlelit tables in the Bistro that create a truly intimate atmosphere. The Conservatory brings the outdoors in - this oasis of light and tranquillity leads directly into the gardens. The Team at Cleveland Tontine work with a range of local suppliers to create delicious seasonal menus reflecting the abundance of excellent produce North Yorkshire and the North East have to offer. There is also a quintessentially English Afternoon Tea on offer with tempting treats including freshly baked scones, a selection of cakes and sweets, and a choice of generously filled sandwiches complemented by a dazzling array of loose leaf teas, or coffee if you prefer. Afternoon Tea is served in the Morning Room overlooking the Cleveland Hills or when the weather's being kind, in the gardens - booking is essential. Or perhaps indulge into life's little luxuries in the Champagne Bar. With its decadent décor and laid-back elegance, it is the perfect place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, a cocktail or a nightcap - the mood is informal and the service attentive. Private Dining, as expected is well catered for with 2 rooms: The Cleveland Room - a large, classically styled, rich red room is the main function area. The dazzling chandelier and decadent décor make it the perfect setting for special events and can accommodate up to 50 guests. With its own private bar and lounge, weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties all feel truly individual. The Snug is a fabulous private dining room with a seating capacity of 14 guests. A large square table makes The Snug ideal for intimate dinners and parties or small business meetings.
