Built as a hunting lodge in the early 1800's, this unique residence has retained many of its original features whilst offering all of the conveniences of modern living. Beautifully decorated throughout, The Walton offers 28 stunning double, superior and family rooms all with free WiFi, a lively bar and stylish restaurant serving a delicious menu. You can also relax on the spacious terrace and enjoy a cocktail or sample a selection of lighter bites from the seasonal menus. It is the perfect place for relaxed, comfortable, informal dining in front of a real open fire or in the summertime on the spacious terrace. The chef regularly creates fresh new menus reflecting the best seasonal, local and international produce. Open to both residents and non-residents, The Walton offers everything from good value light bites to a full 3 course dinner as well as a traditional Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. The Walton also caters for private dining from 8 to 20 guests and can also open the restaurant for special occasions and functions. Open 7 days a week from 7:00 for breakfast (8:00 on weekends) till 10:00 and 17:00 till 21:00 for dinner (Monday - Thursday). Food served all day on Fridays & Saturdays. Sunday lunch is served from 12:00 to 18:00. Bookings are recommended at the weekends and for Sunday Lunch.
