This 15th Century Coaching Inn has recently undergone a transformation and re-opened offering guests a choice of dining, drinking and sleeping options. With a wealth of exposed beams, feature fireplaces, beautiful solid Oak furniture, locally sourced seasonal produce and a fantastic range of ales and wines this really is the ideal location to explore the area. The Brigands Inn menu has been carefully designed to take full advantage of the abundance of fantastic local and seasonal produce that the area can offer. From local sausage and mash, Welsh steaks, locally sourced fish, the menu has something for everyone. Children are catered for with small portions of any of the main dishes. Should you have any specific dietary requirements the kitchen will endeavour to adapt the menu for you. A selection of well-kept cask ales are always available and these change but regular favourites include Doombar and Cader Ales Red Bandit, these sit alongside a wide range of beers, spirits and ciders. There is a carefully chosen wine list that has been put together to offer a great range of styles to suit all, with four whites, four reds and a rosé all served by the glass plus a dozen or so additional bottles for those special occasions.
