Nice relaxed lunch with my daughter before going to St James’ Park. Pizzas were wonderful. Plenty of toppings and a nice thin crust. Staff were helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed and good spacing between tables. Recommended

booked for a birthday lunch. floor staff were professional and friendly and brought a complimentary glass of fizz for the birthday girl, which is always a nice touch. there was nothing wrong with the food, but it was also nothing to write home about. the manchego with olive oil was described as "rather unloved" when it arrived at the table and the pork belly skewers could definitely have done with a little longer in the heat to turn more fat into crisp. the brocolli dish was spot on. decor is inoffensive and manages to provide a welcome feel in an area with incredibly high ceilings, pricing is about right for the location and the venue is brilliantly located, but i don't think we'll be rushing back when Newcastle has so much else to offer diners.
