The name Pisqu signifies vibrant and echoes the eponymous birthplace of Peru’s national drink: the “Pisco sour”. The passion in Pisqu's food has been nurtured by Head chef William Ortiz through his uncompromising use of only quality, healthy and natural ingredients that has become his trademark and sets Pisqu’s cuisine apart. Pisqu brings to London a Peruvian gastronomic experience showcasing mouth-watering flavours of modern day Lima. The Pisco cocktails, beer, wines and food transport you to sense the great variety of influences in what is the Peruvian melting pot: indigenous food with Japanese, Spanish and Chinese influences. Key to the menu on offer is the use of quality, healthy and natural superfood ingredients, many sourced from the Amazon and Andes. On the ground floor, decorated in Royal Inca grey, syou can watch the tiradito & ceviche chef at work behind the 12 seat copper-topped Pisco Bar. Or seat along the L-shaped space where you can see through full-height windows the busy thoroughfare between Oxford Street and Charlotte Street. For a more intimate setting, head to the downstairs lounge where you can find the Vaults: Nazca & Round Hill, for a private dining experience. Signature dishes include Hot Ceviche (seafood in yellow aji tiger’s milk served warm), Chicharron (confit pork belly with rocoto sauce), Lomo a la parrilla (beef filet pachamanca sauce, yellow potato), Ceviche Pisqu, Purple corn ice cream and the Chocolate mousse with Matcha ice cream.
