Sofra (St Christopher's Place)
If you've never tried Turkish food the Sofra chain offers an approachable starting point. A vast selection of sharing plates, including grilled meatballs, spicy lamb sausage, fried haloumi and falafel, form the meze menu and are best ordered en masse. Main courses are attractive too, featuring chicken skewers & kofte (minced lamb and herb patties) alongside more interesting prawn guvech (casserole) with coriander, spring onions and fish stock.
