In 1990, Penn Tandoori was established. The quality of the food and efficient service which was synonymous with the duo was embedded into the foundations of Penn Tandoori and till this day, this is what Penn Tandoori is renowned for. With its rise in popularity year by year, there came a time when customers would offer to sit on upturned buckets just to enjoy the food, Mr Ali and Mr Uddin felt it was necessary to expand the Restaurant in order to accommodate the growing number of customers. In 2008, Penn Tandoori underwent a complete makeover to bring it a fresh and contemporary look to fit in with changing tastes, whilst maintaining its warm friendly atmosphere.
