It was quiet yesterday but food was amazing. I had four kids with me and their portion sizes were generous. Everything about it was excellent!

When booking Red Peppers I specifically put on the booking that it was for an 18th birthday celebration. There was nothing special in terms of even the waitress acknowledging this fact. The food seems to have gone down hill with portion sizes not reflecting the prices. My son left his ribs as they were overcooked and dried out. This was rightfully refunded. Luckily I’d bought his birthday cake so it was bought out to him. Real lack of making a dining experience rememberable. It wasn’t extortionately busy either... Maybe just go a a meal out but not a place if vibe and celebration. A real shame 😔

Okay.

Food was okay, service from waiting staff was lovely. But when we arrived with three small children we were given dirty looks from the manager working at the bar- made us feel quite uncomfortable. 15 years ago we came to this restaurant for one of our first dates, and as no longer local to the area we decided to come back with our family as it felt like a nice thing to do but I really didn’t like the welcome / snarl we were given. My children were well behaved, they didn’t make loud noises, they didn’t run around - they behaved superbly. If you don’t want children in your restaurant, you should specify.

Very enjoyable lunch

We came for lunch yesterday for my husbands birthday., I have visited this restaurant many times with friends.,our food was very good and we both enjoyed what we ordered. No complaints at all. Service was good and we did not feel rushed, as has happened in other places. The staff were polite and welcoming so all in all 10/10. We will return. Thank you
