The Noah's Ark

The Noah's Ark is a beautiful 16th century inn situated in the picturesque village of Lurgashall, overlooking the cricket green and nestled beneath Blackdown Hill on the borders of Surrey and West Sussex. Full of charm and character there is a wonderfully traditional bar area with large inglenook fireplace and ancient beams, perfect for putting the world to rights in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Three ales - one frequently changing guest ale - head the drinks list In addition to a full range of wines and lagers. The Noah's Ark offers superb, traditional British food with a contemporary twist, using ingredients sourced from the very best local suppliers. Wild girolle mushrooms are picked from Henry's Uncle Wills' secret locations and Trout is caught from Arundel Chalk Springs... The menu is built around the English seasons and wherever possible only uses ingredients that can be sourced within a 50 mile radius of Lurgashall. Everything you eat has been prepared to order and onsite by the kitchen team. Alongside the menus there is a Specials Blackboard – a daily changing choice of dishes focusing on fish and "unexpected" produce just delivered.
