It’s the second time of visiting this restaurant and can’t wait to book again. All staff was excellent and the food was beautiful, my husband said it was one of the best fillet steaks he’s had! My pasta was delicious. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Pontefract.

My wife and i decided to have a special birthday treat at Cavallo,and it was just that.The place itself is very nicely decorated, and we were shown to our table by a friendly and polite waitress.We ordered a Limoncello Spritz and a Mojito while we read the menu. My opted for Calimara for a starter while i chose an aubergine dish,both very tasty and good sized portions.For mains she Lasagne and me a meatball dish with sour dough bread and spaghetti in a tomato sauce,and a garlic and mozzarella side. The servings are bigger than other restuarants and we ended up bringing a portion of everything home. A pint of Peroni and Limoncello Spritz finished it off. We were never rushed and the whole experience was relaxing and we decided there and then that we would definately return.

What a beautiful place to dine! The decoration and ambience is exquisite. Service is polite, attentive and friendly… nothing seems to be too much trouble. The food is fresh, delicious and excellent quality. If you are not driving highly recommend the Pornstar Martini Cocktail… one f the best I’ve ever tasted… look forward to another visit soon!…

First time visiting and wasn't disappointed. The meal was absolutely fantastic, didn't manage a desert as too full but will leave room next time. Definitely be going back.
