Good atmosphere but busy and only 2 staff on so service was slow. Food was average and you get the same salad and dip with everything, starter and mains

There were 8 people in our booking and we all enjoyed our meals. Thank you. We have one concern which relates to the poster outlining the reduced rate for lunch (13.99, I think) but which did not make clear that in order to qualify for the reduced rate the meals were served as half portions. We would like to think that this would be made clear in future advertising.

It started badly when we were handed the menu cards which felt and looked rather grubby and greasy. We both had starters of prawn cocktail, and unfortunately I found a hair in my mine. The waitress was nonplussed when I told her! My friend enjoyed her main of lamb but my vegetarian fajitas were poor. Greasy and overcooked with some sad looking lettuce . On the plus side the meal wasn’t expensive but I won’t be going back!

I regularly eat at this local restaurant. I visited yesterday with a friend and as usual was not disappointed. Great food, choice and prices. The manager always finds the time to speak to his customers and the staff team are always polite and helpful.
