Il Vello d'Oro is a delightful Italian restaurant situated in the lovely village of Shaw, and very conveniently located on the main road between Melksham and Bath. It is the perfect venue for a delicious Italian meal with good friends, a cosy Sunday lunch, or a special occasion. The large beer garden is a perfect sun trap!
On offer is an extensive and varied menu, with regular specials, and a great selection of reasonably priced wines, with the focus on Italian. This is a free house and there is also a wide choice of beers, including Peroni, Birra Moretti and from local breweries Bath Ales and Moles.
