The Beckford Arms

The Beckford Arms is a traditional yet stylish country pub located on the edge of the stunning rolling parkland of the Fonthill Estate in south Wiltshire. The pub has a main bar, restaurant, sitting room, a private dining room in the library, eight bedrooms, and a large, very pretty garden and terrace. The menus change with the season and depend on availability of the freshest produce/ On offer are whole suckling pig spit-roasting on the bar's open fire, their own hams and piccalilli, game pies with home made pastry and aged Wiltshire steaks, day-boat landed fish, locally grown salads, home-smoked wild salmon or locally caught trout. The Beckford Arms use local ingredients where possible, supporting local growers and ensuring the best produce, some of which is grown in their own kitchen garden. The bar stocks a range of local ales, quality lagers and an interesting and varied wine list. Beers are supplied by local breweries and there is even a local wine.
