The Red Lion Inn

Hello. We are Steve and Viki and we operate the Red Lion in Cradley. We rolled up here after a brief stint in East Sussex and 20 years living and working in Crete in Greece. Originally running a bar, we opened a snack bar and subsequently rented a closed aparthotel, turning it into a successful business. So successful that we founded a holiday company to handle the guests that we could not accommodate at the hotel. The company grew and we operated this for 14 years.

We arrived at the Red Lion on 17th of June 2017, to find a closed pub showing little sign of care or attention. Our vision was to restore the pub as a community asset and a place for people to enjoy good company, good beer and good food. We have now agreed a further 5 year agreement and invested in a full and extensive refurbishment to further establish the Red Lion and to consolidate its position in the area. We use our experiences and knowledge of Greek cuisine to offer speciality Greek and Mediterranean options on our evening menu and Meg also brings pan-asian options to the specials board
