Koh Thai Tapas is defying conventions and has revolutionised Thai dining with their infectious blend of European indulgence and authentic Thai tastes. Koh Thai Tapas are also passionate about their unique aesthetic, at once informal and elegant, authentic and modern. So the designs set candlelit brickwork against Thai latticework, street-art murals against historic venues. Each Koh restaurant oozes its own personality and its own local charm. Koh Thai Tapas was born out of a desire to create a place where you would like to eat. A place where the holy flavours of Thai cuisine could be shared and sampled with fiery cocktails, far-flung beers and world-class music. A place at once authentic, beautiful, unpretentious, relaxed and refined. Although every venue is unique, with a successful blend between historic locations and fresh fusion design, Koh continues to deliver on exquisite food, drinks and that eclectic atmosphere, striving to hit the mark for the Complete Dining Experience.

A night out with my wife and son to celebrate my birthday. We had a good welcome and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Extensive menu choice and the staff were very helpful in explaing the dishes when asked. Great cocktails and the meal was excellent. We would recommend Koh and we will certainly be back the next time we are in Bournmouth.

I have been to Koh Thai a few times (Bournemouth & Boscombe), this time was for my girlfriends birthday. when arrived we were seated and shortly after asked for drinks, we chose and asked for some prawn crackers while we chose our starters and mains. the drinks finally arrived (no plan crackers) the waitress then finally came back to take order (still no crackers) took order and reminder her of the prawn crackers. we got the starters (the new prawns were lovely) and again asked for the prawn crackers (finally got them) finished the started plates were cleared and was waiting an age for mains, couldn't get anyones attention for drinks, the mains come asked about drinks and someone would be to take order for them. No one did, finished mains (duck was like rubber and tuna steak over cooked). Asked for dessert menu got the menu and waited for an age so just got the bill and left. Only reason they got a service charge was because they already added it to bill and I just wanted to get out there as my partner wasn't happy. Will be a long time before I consider Koh Thai again and if do come back won't be Boscombe restaurant that's for sure. Will not be recommending.

I’ve been to Koh Thai several times and always enjoy it. On this occasion, there were simply not enough staff on and the service was slow. You could see that the staff who were working were literally run off their feet. It took 20 mins for our drinks order to be taken after sitting down. The food was delicious as always. The only thing that let it down was the slow service. Our waitress was excellent and very apologetic about the slow service.

Not been to this branch for a while. Edges of seats ripped and could do with a bit of a makeover in places. Table for two very small and less than an arms length away from table next to us. Food OK, had a lot better. Tasted over salted. Several of the dishes had similar salty / over seasoned taste. Leaving a thirsty feeling. Having been to all the Koh Thais over the years of their success, I wonder if an overhaul of the menu is now needed. Lots of new restaurants opening, they will need to stay current and unique if they wish to maintain their success.

Great food, great service, great value - never fails to please. My sister’s favourite restaurant, travels over 30 miles to visit Koh in Boscombe.
