Although 47 started out life as an upmarket tea rooms, due to its popularity it has expanded its offering to include a fantastic daytime menu, serving home-made favourites, a delightful evening A La Carte and every Sunday, a choice of traditional Sunday roasts. Daytimes at 47 are largely unchanged with the highest quality home-made dishes, freshly-made sandwiches, salads, light bites and a much praised afternoon teas being served throughout the day. In the evening the ambiance changes with crisp white linen adorning the tables, mood-creating candles and soft music, giving the restaurant a really special feel, suitable for any occasion. The A La Carte menu features French and British classics put together by talented head chef Rod Francis. There is also a beautiful bar serving champagnes, wines, bottle beers and mouth-watering cocktails including daily specials.
