Junkyard Market
WHAT IS JUNKYARD MARKET?
The Junkyard Market is a global street food and drink market, housing a cluster of stalls serving forward-thinking street food with high-end cocktails. We aimed to transform under-used spaces into a buzzing day and evening street food market.
You can dig into globe-spanning dishes from many of the best traders local to your city and beyond – everything from Turkish flatbreads to chicken wings, to Asian fusion and Mac n Cheese with a twist. The bar offers a broad range; from locally brewed beer on tap and award winning wines by Harper Wells to high-end cocktails using locally sourced ingredients crafted by our in-house specialists.
The ever-changing background music catered to a diverse range of tastes, along with DJ-led evenings and exclusive performances from music legends such as Norman Jay MBE!
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL?
No Junkyard Market is ever the same! We have a team of amazing designers and production who utilize their knowledge and experience and make your Junkyard Market unique and interesting.
Each corner of Junkyard Market is completely different, each visit feels like a new experience. You can sit somewhere different and eat and drink something different every time!
One of our main focuses is supporting the local community and having a 50/50 split for local and beyond traders. We employ many local staff and contractors as well as using local suppliers to ensure we continuously support the community around us!
WHEN IS IT?
Junkyard Market runs every Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Went along for a friend's 40th. It had been pre-booked for 30 people. When I turned up, everyone was without a drink and had been for over 30 mins. You can't order at the bar or through an app, so you have to wait for someone to come to you. They have 1 lager, Guinness and a cider, that's it. My friend complained quite sternly which led to them asking us to leave, although they didn't ask for payment for the drinks. A very odd experience and somewhere to avoid. It's a bit of a ghost town. I went a few years ago and it was like Yalm, but I couldn't see any vendors there now.
Do not go

Booked for a day with Joe Marler only for the venue to announce it was cancelled last minute… turns out from his own words he told them in January he couldn’t make it so they essentially lied about him appearing until the last minute Having visited previously the site is tired, with limited choice of food and drink and overpriced Avoid like the plague

Can't really give much feedback really, booked a slot for last night. Turned out it wasn't even open? To be told by someone very helpful it's no longer open how it's used to be? Came out to find other people outside trying to work out what was going on, told them Like us, they need to find new plans 🤦🏼♀️
Wasn’t open! Even though we booked in online 🤷🏼♀️

Booked in for a table at 5pm for 9 of us. Turned up and there was no one there, the gate padlocked shut. Really disappointing as we’d never been before. Why let people book in online when you’re not open.
