The King and Thai is set in a relaxing restaurant, beautifully decorated, soft furnishings, neutral decor, with lots of corners to sit, relax and enjoy Suree's incredible freshly prepared cuisine, where a warm welcoming smile greets you in the bar. Chef Suree who has a real passion for food and was awarded Thai Curry Chef of the Year 2011/12, grew up in Thailand and moved to England 20 years ago. She and Simon ran the original King and Thai in Ironbridge before relocating to the old Forester Arms in Broseley. The King and Thai specialises in local meat specials, some of the best fish dishes in the area, traditional dishes, with many vegetarian and gluten free options. The food is fresh, healthy and light, so you can dine without the guilt (until dessert time!). We highly recommend that you save space for one of Suree's incredible home-made desserts – seeing is believing. All the dishes are fresh and made to order – so you will not find any pre-prepared dishes at The King and Thai. All the pastries, including spring rolls, dips & sauces where possible are made in-house.
