Grand Central offers a scintillating menu of great American classics including steaks, burgers, ribs, quesadillas and hot dogs. This American-style bar and grill is one of the largest eateries in Ipswich, seating 280 guests across themed dining and bar areas. Grand Central brings the ultimate American dining experience to The Waterfront. The restaurant is packed with interesting things to look at – be it the bar, emblazoned with the names of cocktails, the graffiti wall art, or the quirky stickers and signs. The menu has been developed to ensure it is as authentic as possible, including American grill and Tex-Mex staples, while incorporating new trends from across the pond. The majority of the menu is big, burly portions (as you’d expect) but there is also a weekly changing specials menu with lighter bites.

I had requested the table be 'decorated' for a special occasion and was very pleased they responded and made the occasion special! The food was really nice and priced well considering the portion sixes were generous. I reccommend the chicken tenders as a starter; they're really good! They also had two cocktails for £10 so it's also a nice place to grab a drink and relax. My boyfriend liked it because they had the rugby match on the big screen ;) Service was really good, a lot of friendly faces greeted us and we were really looked after!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Didn’t have to wait too long either.

First time visitors. Three generations of our family all enjoyed the food. Our server Sam was great too. Thank you

A very pleasant meal, food was hot and tasty. I had the go yankee chicken and my partner the chilli hot dog, both were very nice except the chicken was a little overcooked and dry and there wasn't much sauce. Value for money okay, especially if you use the 2 for 22 menu. Otherwise it is a bit pricey and the drinks and quite expensive!!! Desserts okay, nothing spectacular all pre made and just served. Would be nice to see some hot desserts rather than ice cream. Overalls a nice meal for 2, staff were friendly but not over attentive. Could have been a little less rude when we asked for more time to decide what to order. An eye roll was a bit much!!!

Visited on New Years Eve afternoon. The service was slow, didn’t bring children’s menus and had to ask and then only brought over one menu. No refills offered on drinks. Food took a while to arrive, but when it did arrive it was nice and there was lots of it. Not sure I would visit again.
