This was a takeaway eat in experience may differ food is no doubt tasty eaten here before covid with friends and know the food is good but didn't expect to receive wrong meat in one of the curries I ordered despite online receipt having correct one. But what annoyed me more was the amount of curry out weighs the really small portions of rice for 4.50 a portion the smallest container of rice, given price of rice is peanuts it should be in the larger container which would match the larger container size of curry perfectly 3 small portions of rice comes in at nearly 15 pounds is a rip off especially as it comes up short on portions. Also the over 40 get 10 off the price promo code on the website refused to work so a Indian for three adults cost just over 50! I know prices have gone up a lot over the year but still it's a bit much rather go to the tamasha down the road for that price.

We waited 45 minutes and managed to order drinks and poppadoms. We were still waiting for our food order to be taken when we decided to leave. The manager was nice and told us not to worry about the bill however given the length of time we had been there I had expected this.

Our first time back to Shampan in over two years and we were not disappointed…..the food was possibly better than we remembered and the service friendly and professional. We won’t wait another two years to return !!
