Oyster & Porter House

Our award-winning Oyster & Porter House is situated at the heart of London's bustling Borough food market next to London Bridge. Our small but perfectly formed dining room is made up of a long oyster bar and high tables. It is relaxed, informal and full of life. The open kitchen, counter seating and blackboard menus all add to its magic. Naturally, our speciality is oysters and throughout the year we offer a wide range, sourced from the best producers around the British Isles and France. Grab an outdoor table on market days, sit back, enjoy a plate of oysters and a glass of wine and soak up the atmosphere of the thriving market – we've been told it's one of the hottest spots in London. Head chef Phil Coulter joined us from Knightsbridge's acclaimed “Racine” and has a passion and flair for great ingredients cooked simply. We sell only fish and shellfish from sustainable stocks and source as much as possible from small Cornish day boats. We also source shellfish directly from our Duchy Oyster Farm on the Helford river in Cornwall, embracing our “farm to plate” philosophy.
