The kitchen offers traditional favourites and exciting new dishes cooked over an open fire using produce grown on-site in our organic Market Garden and Wild Range meat from our rewilding project. Our “Wilded” courtyard welcomes guests to sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch in the beautiful Sussex sunshine.

Wonderful lunch!

We had a delightful 3 course lunch in the private dining room - the perfect spot to catch up with old friends! The Knepp beef was absolutely delicious, as was everything we ate including the lobster salad and kale greens! The staff were warm, helpful and thoughtful. Dogs are welcome too.

We go to Knepp a lot, did so before the cafe was there, and had great expectations. Both times we've been to have breakfast, the service has been slow and the food a little disappointing. They have such wonderful ingredients, it's a shame that the meals themselves are a little 'style over substance'. First things to fix are to offer breakfast options of how you'd like your eggs cooked and what type of bread a customer may want. Those simple things would help a lot. We will probably go again sometime in the future to see if things have improved, it is a lovely location afterall and we'd like to see it do well.

Managed a last minute booking for Sunday lunch, as ever, warm welcome, and delicious food. Wanted to see what was seasonal on the menu, the venison was delicious. There was a lovely atmosphere, the cafe and restaurant were very busy, lots of families, children, and dogs, in the cafe, all happy.
