On the menu at The Old Bank, steaks are the stars of the show. Using only British Beef, which has been hung for at least 28 days, the Grill Chefs cook the steaks to perfection on an open flame grill. A reputation for ribs, possibly the best in Sussex, has been earned through meticulous care. Firstly by steaming the baby back ribs to tenderize them, then marinating them for 24 hours before they are finally grilled to a golden brown whilst being basted with The Old Bank's unique sweet and sour basting sauce. The towering burgers are handmade in-house with prime British Beef – you just have to try The Banker: beef burger, grilled smoked cheese, bacon, relish, tomato and gherkins, sandwiched in a brioche bun – delicious... The restaurant offers great value for money and there are also promotion nights and an Early Bird menu where you can get even more value. A very good and specially selected wine list is available to enhance your dining experience, without breaking the bank.
