Zizzi (Portsmouth)

Zizzi is driven by a passion for Italian food and a simple motto: "well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to create exceptional Italian food". Each restaurant is a bit different in character, architecture and feel. Zizzi Port Solent is located on the boardwalk of Port Solent marina, with fabulous views of the marina and the surrounding area. There is a large, heated, outside seating area.

Thoroughly enjoyed a long lunch here with friends. We are not the easiest of tables: one gluten-free, one diabetic, two vegetarians. Our waiter Marcin got every detail right and was a perfect host: always attentive but never intrusive. We all agreed afterwards that the experience felt like dining in a family run trattoria, albeit with a large menu. All our meals were perfectly cooked and we chose wine from a very decent list. Marcin and the team made us feel like valued regulars and I can’t wait for an excuse to dine here again.
