El Torero
El Torero "The Bullfighter" is arguably the best Spanish restaurant in Newcastle. The menu is inspired by the Spanish owner and the head chef, both from Granada in Southern Spain. El Torero offers a wide range of delicious dishes inspired by the gastronomy of southern Spain. All dishes are freshly prepared using only the finest produce with the chorizo, jamón, morcilla and longaniza all imported from Spain.
The extensive menu caters for all tastes, with a large selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. There is a wide variety of tapas as well as other speciality dishes such as paella and suckling pig, making El Torero the venue of choice for any occasion.
There is an extensive wine list where you will find the finest wines from the various regions of Spain. In addition, there are Spanish lagers, cider, Sherries and Brandies. El Torero also has a delicious home-made Sangría that is perfect on a hot summer's day.
