An excellent meal with very attentive service. We ate in the bar area with a 100 year old mother who thoroughly enjoyed her meal and did not leave anything. The food was freshly cooked and a great variety of vegetables. Our 10 month old Cockapoo also enjoyed her morsels and doggie bag.

What a brilliant and well executed menu! You would need to make several visits to cover all the unusual dishes. The crispy cockles and the seafood tapas being particular highlights for me. Good breakfasts here too, it's nice to see kippers as a choice. I wish I lived closer than Essex!

I booked a table here for a new years lunch and requested a cake for my husband as it was his birthday. The team here far surpassed my expectations of a village pub, they were fantastic! Food was great and came quickly and when it came time for the cake (which was lovely) the team sung happy birthday. If we are this way again I would definitely visit again!

The Buxted Inn provided an amazing service and an even better menu in the lead up to the busiest time of the year. Couldn't fault them in any way.
