Browns (Manchester)
Browns is located in the converted Athenaeum, formerly one of the city's most famous pubs but originally the imposing banking hall of Parrs Bank. Designed by Charles Heathcote in 1902, it is a lovely example of Edwardian baroque architecture with some beautiful art nouveau detailing, particularly in the wrought iron work.
